At the entrance of the garden, there are plenty of free parking spaces for guests, including two reserved for disabled parking. Please note that parking is at your own risk. During larger events at the Garden, parking is also available in the large car park by the Amphiscene.

Please be aware that the car park by Restaurant Den Gyldne Hane is closer to the main entrance of the Geographical Gardens than the car park at Amfiscenen and Kolding Miniby. We recommend entering the full address of the Geographical Garden: Christian 4 Vej 23, 6000 Kolding, if you are using GPS.

Driving an electrical car? There are three parking spaces with charging stations available.

To get to the Geographical Garden Have on foot, it is just a 2.5 km walking distance from Kolding Railway Station and Bus Terminal – uphill most of the way.

You can take bus no. 254 from Kolding Bus Terminal, or city bus no. 2 and no. 7 from Mazantigade to Agtrupvej by Christian IV’s vej. You can find timetables here or at Rejseplanen.

Toilets are available at the entrance and in the building near the Herb Garden. A toilet for the disabled is available in the latter. There is also a toilet for the disabled in Kolding Miniby.

Dogs are welcome at the Geographical Garden, but they must be kept on a leash. Please be considerate of other guests, the gardeners, and the animals in the garden. Don’t forget to bring a bag for waste. There is a water hydrant at the entrance.

The garden paths are surfaced with gravel or stone flour. The café is easily accessible for wheelchair users, but assistants are required for the sloping footpaths in the southern part of the garden. There are wheelchairs available in the garden upon prior reservation. Please call 79797000

Bringing your own barbeque is not allowed in the garden due to the fire hazard. However, you can rent a gas barbeque upon prior reservation at the reception during opening hours. To reserve a barbeque please write to info@geografiskhave.dk or call 79797000

You are welcome to bring your own food. There are several seating areas for this purpose. However, eating your own food is not allowed at Café Lykkefund’s terrace, as this area is reserved for guests who have purchased food in the café.

Yes you can use MobilePay at the reception and in the café in  the Geographical Garden. You can also use cash (DKK and Euro) or credit card.

At the entrance reception, you will find a variety of souvenirs including flower seeds, plates, cups, homemade paradise apple jelly, and honey. You can also purchase a key ring, a fridge magnet with images from the garden, or a cute teddy bee, ladybug, or hedgehog.

The annual pass is valid for one calendar year and grants entry to Geografisk Have during normal opening hours.

Yes, you can rent a trolley at the entrance to the Geographical Garden for DKK 25. It can be used for children or to transport items.

No, guests are not allowed to feed the animals. The garden’s animal caretakers ensure that they get the right feed in the right quantities.
